Yesterday's critique group with the Heart of America Christian Writer's Network was brutal. Having slowed down chapter three was not to their liking. They had trouble seeing anyone waiting and not just rushing in to fight the fire. Somehow I don't find it hard. I know men like that. Vain attempts to explain Adminius' character didnt help. I know I was not satisfied with the chapter either, so spent today hacking, cutting and reorganizing, and thinking deeply about the scene. I will take time this week to rewrite ....again and see what happens. "too slow, plodding." will not be the case. the second half of the chapter, which I didnt bring is where the action is. If character can be shown IN action rather than IN-ACTION then I will give it a try. It is frustrating to think that every decorator that enters the room wants to move a picture. If I want soemthing I have never had, to accomplish something I have never done, then I have to learn to do things I have never done and discover new ways of doing it. I am determined not to let it get me down and will write the vision. First Draft

Britain is in turmoil. The individual tribes fight over the small bones of power. Rome stands in the shadows watching and she drools. One British cheiftan - Caradoc- seeks to gather the spoils for himself and keep Britain pure of Roman invasion. But, what may appear a savior to some can be a terror to others. Caught up in the midst of it all are Caradoc's twin sons. Meant for the sacrificial table, these two boys are destined to carry the hope of all Britain. Hated by their father, Jachin and Boaz strive for years trying to cope with their father's abuse, until one day they stumble into his deepest secrets. Seeing a hope of escape, they set out on an adventure to ultimately destroy their father and rescue Britain from his evil schemes.

I am a Board Certified Family Physician and have been practicing for over 20 years, the last 4 years in rural Missouri. I received my Medical Degree from The University of Oklahoma. My residency in Family Medicine was in Springfield, Missouri. I am currently the Vice-Chairman of Staff of Barton County Memorial Hospital; Medical Director of Med One Clinics and supervise three Nurse Practitioners; Preceptor to Physician Assistant students from Missouri State University: Physician Champion for the Asthma, Diabetes and Chronic Medical Conditions Access Grants.
